History is worth investigating. We can learn a lot from studying our own history, but as Christians, it’s a wise idea to look into the not-so-distant past as it relates to church history. As you’ve read in this week’s introduction, we are going to do a little history lesson this week. You know how much I believe that we can’t pass on what we don’t possess. It’s a line I repeat over and over at my podcast. So why does it matter when it comes to identity? You’ll find out as we look into our recent past as a culture. Our kids need to know exactly how we got to a place where we can no longer agree on basic issues such as male and female. As it turns out, God has something to say on these issues through the Old and New Testaments.
