This month we are beyond excited as we’re going to take a good look at HOW to study God’s Word in a way that is reflective, thoughtful, purposeful, and inquisitive. When we approach the Word of God in this manner, we come away nourished, challenged, and changed.
My relationship with the Word is always growing. It really began with desperation in looking for help and words to live by, and grew to a love between Father and daughter. It transformed into curiosity. In moments, the Holy Spirit would drop a question in my heart, “Why does that word keep popping up?” But many times over the years, as I have had questions, I turned to a commentary or footnotes to help understand the Bible. Trying to follow that person's thought process, I often found myself still wondering, curious, and at times, even frustrated. Lord, how do I find the answers for the things I am curious about? Honestly, Google isn’t a quality helper either.
I used to look at the Word of God for what it could do for me or how it could help me. NOW, after studying the Bible more directly, I know that there are tremendous depths to the Word of God that we are meant to search and discover!
Frankly, this new awareness greatly increased my hunger and thirst by changing the way I looked at the Bible entirely. Rather than a “have to” read, or recipe for solutions, the Word of God is rich and intentional! Join me on this adventure.

It is easily divided in such a way that you can do it in one sitting or over several days in smaller portions. You make it work for you!
